The Oxford Festival of the Arts is a fortnight of events that takes place between Friday 21st June and Sunday 7th July

Now in its eleventh year, the Festival is a two-week whirlwind of culture and creativity in venues throughout Oxford. With music, drama, speakers, film, dance, art, poetry, comedy, sport, exhibitions and poetry, they really do have something for everyone! The theme of this year's Festival is CONNECTIONS, across the arts, with the past and between cultures.

Just some of the exciting events include Ronnie Scott’s Big Band playing the jazz greats, appearances from big names including Jeffrey Archer, Prue Leith, and Anton du Beke, the world premiere of Frida an operatic monodrama based on the diaries of Frida Kahlo, circus skills and dance combining as Hanna Moisala performs the amazing WireDo, the ever-popular free outdoor cinema screenings, award-winning stand-up comedy and much more.
